Tool Crib

The Tool Crib contains all of the tools that you will be using as you learn more about aviation and its history.

Tools are divided into 3 categories:
General Tools (tools for everyone)
Teachers and Parents
(tools that will help these folks )
Missions
(access to missions)

Many of the files below are in the PDF format and require Adobe Reader to view them.
If you don't have Adobe Reader installed you can get a copy of the Adobe Reader software for free.

Other files were created using the Microsoft Office suite. If you don't have the applicable Microsoft
program you can get a viewer or converter program. Viewers or converters for Microsoft Word , PowerPoint or Excel files can be downloaded from the Microsoft Office Assistance Center.
These viewers or converters are free.

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) has an excellent aviation education web page. Be sure to visit for some excellent resources.

The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) is another aviation organization with a wealth of aviation education materials on their web site.

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) funds AvKids. A site with lots of useful material for parents, teachers and kids alike.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a terrific web site for kids and aviation. They call it Aviation Education, you might call it fun.

The US Air Force has a terrific education resource web site. Links, lesson plans, materials, downloads, and more.

The Minnesota DOT's Aeronautics Office has an excellent site -- games, activities, teacher resources, and much more. Wow!

The US Centennial of Flight Commission is celebrating the 100th anniversary in a big way.
