The Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame (WAHF) is an active and vibrant organization because of its member supporters. Our goals are reached only with the help of the many men and women who have joined and continue to support the WAHF through their dues, donations and participation. Join the WAHF today, it's easy and the benefits are many. Here is an application form .

Membership Supporter Categories
There are three categories of membership in the WAHF -- individual, family and corporate.

  • Individuals can join or renew their membership on an annual basis or become Lifetime Member Supporters for a one-time fee.
  • Family memberships are on annual basis only and include two adult memberships at a greatly reduced rate.
  • Corporate memberships are also available and provide companies with an opportunity to support the mission and goals of the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame.

Membership Supporter Benefits
Your benefits begin with a membership card and certificate and our quarterly members' newsletter, Forward in Aviation. This publication provides a wealth of information on today's Wisconsin aviation activities while saluting those who have made a difference in our state's aviation history.

You will also receive our annual update to the book, Forward in Flight, The History of Aviation in Wisconsin. This four-color, six-page newsletter provides more of the Wisconsin aviation history that you won't find anywhere else.

Every fall you will receive your personal invitation to attend the prestigious banquet and induction ceremony. Held amid the exhibits of the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin each fall. The museum's setting provides a historic backdrop to the evening's festivities. You will have the opportunity to share the evening with some of Wisconsin's aviation notables while saluting the year's new inductees.

There are also the intangible benefits of your membership - support of our research and recognition efforts, the scholarship program and our outreach programs. Reflect on the benefits of joining and the mission and the goals of the organization. If they reflect your values we encourage you to join us today.

Steve and Sharon Krog met when Sharon became a student of CFI Steve. Once the “student-instructor” relationship was behind them, they began dating and recently celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary.

Steve and Sharon have had their aviation passion grow along with their marriage.

The couple has devoted a lot of time to the EAA Young Eagle program. Both have been active volunteers and pilots in the program since its inception. "We always enjoy sharing airplane talk and airplane rides with kids", said Steve.

They both are active in the Midwest Antique Airplane Club (MAAC), as volunteers and officer/organizers of MAAC activities. In addition to the monthly fly-in meetings held throughout Wisconsin, they host a weekend Grassroots Fly-In and an annual season ending banquet. Sharon handles most of the details for those two functions while Steve takes care of the monthly meetings. He is currently MAAC president.

Summers find them volunteering at the EAA's AirVenture Oshkosh. They have worked as volunteers at the event for the last eight years. Steve also serves on the Vintage Aircraft Association board.

Then just when you think that they couldn't possibly do any more they took ownership of the Cub Club and Lucombe Association. The phone calls, e-mails and faxes never stop.

We salute Steve and Sharon for their willingness to give of their time and sharing their passion for aviation.
