Ken and Darcy Kulesha are a team, and it shows through their mutual interests and aspirations. Both are pilots; Darcy is an active member of the Wisconsin 99’s, the female pilot organization, and Ken is a Fed Ex pilot. Both are individual life members of the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame. Ken and Darcy are also involved with their local Boy Scout troop, and they promote aviation to the Boy Scouts whenever they can.

In September 2003, Ken and Darcy combined their love of aviation and commitment to the Boy Scouts by playing a leading role in a huge project. 300 Scouts converged on the Dodge County Airport in Juneau, WI to participate in a weekend camporee, and to earn their aviation merit badge. Ken, Darcy and other dedicated Boy Scout leaders and aviation enthusiasts spent the weekend teaching the boys aviation/aerospace topics - from flight simulators to rockets to pre-flighting an airplane. Over 250 of the 300 boys who attended received Young Eagle Flights by members of Dodge County EAA Chapter 897.

The Greendale, WI couple are the parents of one son, Kevin, age 14, himself a Boy Scout. The Kulesha’s are a credit to the aviation community, and we’re proud to have them as supporters of the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame.

Tom Thomas of Madison, Wisconsin is in our member spotlight for several reasons. For one, he recruited 19 new members for the WAHF during our recent "100 for 100" membership drive.

The primary reason we are saluting Tom is for his passion - his passion for everything aviation. Young Eagle flights given - over 200, active CFI, former USAF pilot, aviation consultant for over 30 years and an active, passionate member of the WAHF who is always willing to help out. Thanks Tom!

All WAHF member supporters are encouraged to lend a hand to keep your organization growing and vibrant. Send us an e-mail with your interests.
