Since 1985 the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame has been seeking out and discovering Wisconsin's aviation pioneers. From World War I aviators like Billy Mitchell to early aircraft manufacturers like Alfred Lawson. From military heroes like Dick Bong to civilian flyers like Art Scholl. From aviation flight examiners to aviation educators and present day airport managers, the organization continues to honor those who are making a difference in Wisconsin's aviation industry.

We’re proud to share Wisconsin’s aviation history with you. You will learn the stories of our state’s aviation visionaries, those who have made countless contributions to aviation in Wisconsin and beyond our borders. You will also learn more about the supporters of the Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame and how they are making a positive impact on the future of aviation.

Come on in and stay for a while! Join us in honoring the men and women who have made aviation what it is today for you and I.

Collect and preserve the history of aviation in Wisconsin, recognize those who made that history, inform others of it, and promote aviation education for future generations.
